QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM OF THE RURAL HEALTH UNIT 

Services:

o       The RHU facility is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Mondays to Fridays; except when there is a delivery conducted by the Midwife.

o       During the emergency cases, the Physician (Municipal Health Officer), Nurse, Midwives and Ambulance Driver are on call after office hours.

o       The RHU Facility is kept clean and orderly by all the staff on duty.

o       One (1) utility worker helps maintain the facility and its surroundings clen.

o       The health facility is well-ventilated and well-lit. It also has a functioning and accessible toilet and sink for use of clients and health staff.

o     The facility is free from structural hazards and has a proper waste disposal system.
